In the Safranbolu district of Karabük, 23-year-old Adem Demirel died after being shot in the head when a shotgun accidentally fired. His cousin Y.D. was detained in connection with the incident, and two shotguns believed to have been used in the incident were seized.
The incident occurred in the Akkışla village, affiliated with the Safranbolu district of Karabük. According to the information obtained, while Y.D. (26) was unloading his hunting rifle, the weapon suddenly discharged, hitting his cousin Adem Demirel (23) in the head.
HE PASSED AWAY IN THE HOSPITAL
Adem Demirel, who was seriously injured, was taken to Safranbolu State Hospital after initial intervention by health teams called to the scene. The young man lost his life despite all the interventions performed there.
HIS COUSIN WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
Two hunting rifles considered to have been used in the incident were taken into custody, while it was reported that the suspect Y.D. was taken into custody to be referred to the judicial authorities.
