A holidaymaker who fell asleep in the sea bed in Saros Bay in Edirne was drifted out to sea due to strong winds and waves. When his relatives on the shore couldn't see him, they asked for help. The facility manager and his relatives reached the holidaymaker who was still sleeping by going out to sea with a boat.

A person whose name could not be learned, who came to the shore of Yayla village for vacation, fell asleep on the sea bed and something happened. Those who went out to sea by boat to search for the man rescued the person who was still sleeping.

FOUND 2 MILES AWAY

The person who fell asleep was dragged towards the open sea due to strong winds and waves. When the relatives on the shore could not see the sea bed and the man after a while, they asked for help from the operator of the facility they were in. Mustafa Altunhan, the operator of the facility, and his relatives reached the vacationer who was still sleeping on the sea bed about 2 miles off the coast by going out to sea with a boat.

WOKEN UP BY HIS RELATIVES' CALL

The person who continued to sleep on the sea bed woke up when his relatives called him. After waking up, the vacationer was taken on board the boat and then taken to the shore. The moment of drifting away and rescue was recorded with a mobile phone camera.

THEY HAVE RESCUED SOMEONE ELSE BEFORE

Mustafa Altunhan said that they had a similar incident last June and they rescued a person who was dragged about 4 miles away from the shore with the sea bed. Altunhan emphasized that one should be careful in the sea on windy and wavy days.
