Starting from yesterday afternoon, the southwesterly winds, which increased in intensity, negatively affected life in the city. Due to the southwesterly winds reaching speeds of 68 kilometers per hour, trees fell onto the roads and parked vehicles, while pieces of buildings were scattered onto the streets. In the Odunluk neighborhood of the Nilüfer district, the scaffolding of a construction site collapsed onto a parked car.

THE FENCE OF THE FOOTBALL FIELD COLLAPSED

The fence of a football field located in the Millet Garden in the Soğanlı neighborhood of the Osmangazi district collapsed due to the strong southwesterly winds. Teams from the Osmangazi Municipality, dispatched to the address, removed the fallen fences and carried out cleaning work.

The rainfall is expected to be heavy in the regions of Marmara, Coastal Aegean, Western Mediterranean, Adana, Düzce, Zonguldak, Bolu, and Bartın, while very heavy rainfall is expected in the regions of İzmir, Aydın, Muğla, and the eastern parts of Antalya.
