A specialist sergeant on duty in the Pülümür district of Tunceli was found dead in a guesthouse in Erzincan with a gunshot wound to the head. The possibility of suicide is being considered.

The incident occurred in a guesthouse located in the center of Erzincan. According to the information obtained, specialist sergeant Mustafa A. (27), who was serving under the command of the gendarmerie in the Pülümür district of Tunceli, went to Erzincan after taking a leave of absence. After the specialist sergeant did not answer his phone, the police and fire department were notified. Teams that entered the room with the help of the fire department found the lifeless body of the specialist sergeant.

SUICIDE POSSIBILITY

While the possibility that the specialist sergeant with a gunshot wound to the head may have committed suicide is being considered, his body was taken to the morgue of Mengücek Gazi Training and Research Hospital for an autopsy. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
