The Turkish Football Federation announced that Vitor Melo Pereira has officially started his role as the Referee Development Director as of today. A 2-year contract has been signed with Pereira.
The TFF announced that Vitor Melo Pereira has been appointed as the Referee Development Director. It was also stated that the contract with Pereira is for a duration of 2 years.
TFF'S STATEMENT ON PEREIRA
In a statement made by the TFF regarding the matter, it was said;
"Referee Development Director Dr. Vitor Melo Pereira has officially started his duties as of today.
He visited the President of the Turkish Football Federation, İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu, at his office together with the Chairman of the Central Refereeing Committee (MHK), Dr. Ferhat Gündoğdu.
The meeting, which took place at the Riva Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities, was also attended by TFF Board Advisor Serdar Yıldız.
We have high confidence that Vitor Melo Pereira, who has served as a FIFA referee at an elite level for many years and has held referee management positions in many countries along with his home country of Portugal, will make significant contributions to the restructuring of the Turkish refereeing education system and the development of new talents through this role within the MHK.
He will serve full-time, and the duration of the contract is two years." it was stated.
