A woman trying to exchange fake bracelets for real ones at a jewelry store in Aksaray was caught red-handed by police teams. At that moment, a person in the store who claimed to be a lawyer said, "I will do everything I can for her to be prosecuted." The woman pleaded, "I have children, please don't do this."
A woman who came to a jeweler in Aksaray with fake bracelets on her arm exchanged them for real gold bracelets she wanted to look at. The jeweler, realizing the game, discreetly pressed the alarm button to call the police. When the police arrived shortly after, they caught the woman red-handed with the fake bracelets, while her lawyer said, "I will do my best for her to be tried in custody," and the woman pleaded, "I have children, please don't do this."
CAUGHT TRYING TO EXCHANGE FAKE BRACELETS FOR REAL ONES
The incident occurred at a jeweler in the covered bazaar in the city center of Aksaray. According to the information obtained, a woman named K.Ş. (28) came to a jeweler with two fake gold-colored twisted bracelets on her arm. The woman, who said she wanted to buy the same ones by showing the ones on her arm, took off the fakes while examining the real gold bracelets the jeweler provided and put them on her arm. She handed the ones she took off to the jeweler. Noticing the situation, the jeweler pressed the alarm button discreetly. Upon the notification sent to the police, they arrived at the address shortly. The woman was caught red-handed with the fake bracelets she had given to the jeweler and the real bracelets she had put on her arm.
"I HAVE A SICK CHILD, PLEASE DON'T DO THIS"
As the police were escorting the woman out of the jeweler, a person present at the scene who identified himself as a lawyer turned to the police officers and said, "I am a lawyer, I will do my best for her to be tried in custody." Upon this, the woman pleaded, "I have children, please don't do this, I have a sick child, please have mercy on me." While the police took the woman into custody, the jeweler took his own bracelets and handed the fake ones over to the police. An investigation has been initiated by the Aksaray Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the incident.
