A refrigerator that fell on the roadside in Konya surprised passersby. A courier who saw the refrigerator contacted the authorized service and ensured it was picked up.
A courier delivering packages in Konya was stunned to see a refrigerator box on the roadside. Realizing it was full, the courier contacted the authorized service and ensured the refrigerator was delivered to its owner.
SAW A REFRIGERATOR BOX ON THE ROADSIDE
The incident occurred on Kaletaş Street in the Parsana neighborhood of Selçuklu district, Konya. Courier Halil Şeker, who was making package deliveries, noticed a refrigerator box on the roadside while driving along the street.
Şeker, who initially thought the box was empty, said he was greatly surprised when he turned back out of curiosity.
BRAND NEW REFRIGERATOR CAME OUT OF THE BOX
Checking the box, the courier saw a brand new refrigerator inside. Upon this, Halil Şeker contacted the authorized service and provided information for the product to be picked up. The courier then pulled the refrigerator to a safe area and waited for the authorities to arrive.
“WE FOUND WALLETS, BUT THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE SAW A REFRIGERATOR”
Describing his surprise, Halil Şeker said, “I saw a refrigerator box on the road. At first, I thought it was empty. Of course, I never expected it to be full. Then I turned back. When I turned back and looked, there was a brand new refrigerator on the road.”
Stating that he contacted the authorities, Şeker said, “I pulled the refrigerator to the side. I notified the authorities. Later, the authorities came and picked up the product.”
“IT WAS A VERY UNUSUAL SITUATION FOR US”
Stating that they had found bags and wallets before but encountered such an incident for the first time, the courier said, “I was very surprised at first. We found many wallets, we found bags. We handed those over to the police, but we were very surprised when we saw the refrigerator. Such things are not very common in our community. It was a very unusual situation for us.”
