In the animal market in Van's Ipekyolu district, one person died and 13 were injured in a fight involving guns, stones, and sticks between two groups.
According to allegations, there was a previous feud between two groups from the Alabayır and Kolsatan neighborhoods of the Tusba district over a pasture area. An argument broke out when the parties encountered each other in the animal market in the morning hours.

The argument quickly escalated into a brawl. The parties attacked each other with stones, sticks, and guns. Upon notification from bystanders, numerous police and health teams were dispatched to the scene.
SECURITY MEASURES TAKEN AT HOSPITALS
In the fight, one person lost their life, while 13 injured individuals were taken to city hospitals by ambulances. Police teams took extensive security measures both at the animal market and around the hospitals. Following the incident, officials announced that the animal market would be closed today.
