TERRIBLE ACCIDENT OCCURRED IN THE MORNING HOURS
The accident occurred around 08:30 a.m. on the Ankara road Anadolu Boulevard Toybelen area of Samsun's İlkadım district. According to the information obtained, the car driven by Mahmut Murat G. (45) was traveling from Samsun towards Kavak when it struck Hatun Kabadayı (50), who was trying to cross the road.
SHE LOST HER LIFE AT THE SCENE
Hatun Kabadayı, who was seriously injured by the impact, lost her life at the scene. Medical and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area upon notification.
IT WAS HER FIRST DAY STARTING WORK
It emerged that it was the first day Hatun Kabadayı, known to be a mother of three, was to start work at a fish factory. The woman, who had left home in the morning to go to work, lost her life across from the factory where she would work after getting off the minibus, plunging her family and loved ones into grief.
HER HUSBAND AND SON WERE IN TEARS
Her husband Ali Kabadayı and son Aydın Kabadayı, who arrived at the scene after the accident, suffered nervous breakdowns. The cries of the family members embracing Hatun Kabadayı's lifeless body in the middle of the road moved the citizens nearby. The laments of her relatives were heartbreaking at the scene.
DRIVER TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
Hatun Kabadayı's body was sent to the Forensic Medicine Institute Samsun Group Directorate for an autopsy after the gendarmerie teams completed their investigation at the scene.
The driver of the car involved in the accident, Mahmut Murat G., was taken into custody by teams from the İlkadım District Gendarmerie Command. The investigation into the incident continues.
