24-year-old TikTok phenomenon and model Fedra Oded Gaxiola Orozco was killed in a shooting outside a gym in Tijuana, Mexico.

According to the details of the incident, Orozco was sitting in her black Mercedes in front of Hardcore Fitness Gym in the López Lucio neighborhood at 8:35 AM yesterday when an unidentified assailant fired several shots through the car's window and door before fleeing the scene. The young woman was taken to the hospital by ambulance but could not be saved despite all efforts.

Witnesses reported that the assailants fled in a gray Chevrolet HHR. Homicide prosecutor Miguel Ángel Gaxiola Rodríguez stated that the assailant acted alone and specifically targeted the victim.

Fedra Gaxiola, from the Sinaloa state in northwestern Mexico, had over 200,000 followers on Instagram and TikTok and worked with sportswear brands.

Earlier this year, a similar incident occurred in Mexico. Influencer Vielka Pulido and her boyfriend Joel Abraham Chavez were shot outside a gym. Security camera footage showed an assailant exiting a gray Hyundai and firing 26 shots at the couple's white BMW.

Police in Puebla are focusing on the possibility that 21-year-old Joel Abraham Chavez may have been the primary target. Vielka, known on social media as "La Bendi," who sells perfumes and beauty products in online stores, is reported to be a "random victim."

The police have launched a comprehensive investigation to solve the case and stated that a total of 26 shell casings of 9mm and 45mm were found at the scene.
