The last moments of the young girl who lost her life as a result of a truck tire that broke off in Ankara were captured on security camera footage.
FAST-APPROACHING TRUCK TIRE RIPPED THE YOUNG GIRL FROM LIFE
An investigation is ongoing into the death of 18-year-old Rukiye Berra Erarslan, who died when a tire broke off from a truck traveling in the Samsun-Ankara direction in the Elmadağ district last week and hit her on the Şehit Cengizhan Kaplan Bridge for unknown reasons.
While the driver of the vehicle was taken into custody by the police, a funeral prayer was held for Erarslan at the İstasyon Mosque in the district. The young girl's body was buried in Yenimahalle Cemetery after the prayer, amidst tears.
Security camera footage of the young girl's last moments has been obtained. It can be seen that Erarslan was walking with her back turned, unaware of what was about to happen, when the giant wheel came speeding towards her and hit her, throwing her several meters away.
