The trial of the four defendants, who are in custody regarding the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran in Diyarbakır, continues with a request for aggravated life imprisonment. On the second day of the trial, which began yesterday at the 8th Heavy Penal Court, the detained defendants were brought to the Diyarbakır Courthouse from the Diyarbakır Penal Institutions Campus with extensive security measures using prison transport vehicles. THE HEARING IS BEING RECORDEDThose attending the hearing were allowed into the courtroom after being searched at two separate points inside and outside the courthouse. The detained defendants, uncle Salim, mother Yüksel, and brother Enes Güran, along with Nevzat Bahtiyar, who confessed during the investigation that he hid Narin's lifeless body in the Eğertutmaz Stream, and their lawyers were present at the hearing. The hearing is being recorded on camera. BARAN GÜRAN IS BEING HEARD AS A WITNESSThe second day of the trial began with the testimonies of witnesses. In today's hearing, Baran Güran, the brother, is being heard as a witness. A question posed by Enes Güran's lawyer to Narin's brother Baran drew attention. While allegations of a sexual relationship between his mother and uncle Salim Güran were on the agenda, the lawyer asked Baran, "What would Enes do if he saw his mother and uncle like that?" Baran Güran replied, "He would shoot himself in the head." The dialogue between the lawyer and Baran Güran is as follows; Lawyer: "Did Salim Güran ever hit Enes?" Baran Güran: "I don't know." Lawyer: "What about when he misbehaves?" Baran Güran: "I don't know if he misbehaves." Lawyer: "Is there a situation where Salim Güran hits his nephews?" Baran Güran: "No." Lawyer: "What would Enes do if he saw his mother and uncle like that, Baran?" Baran Güran: "He would shoot himself in the head." Lawyer: "Would he hide Narin's death?" Baran Güran: "Absolutely not." Lawyer: "If Enes saw that, would he stab him if there was no gun?"
