To prove that intercontinental travel can be done solely by walking, British traveler Karl Bushby, who set off from Chile 26 years ago, completed an important stage of his approximately 50,000-kilometer journey in Istanbul. The 56-year-old Bushby crossed the July 15 Martyrs' Bridge on foot, stepping from Asia to Europe.
