A sycamore tree with a diameter of 478 centimeters and an estimated age of over 500 years was accidentally discovered in the forests of Bartın. While the age of the tree, found by villagers, is being examined, efforts have also begun to register and protect the tree. Therefore, it is gratifying for us to identify the existence of such a tree in terms of nature tourism and eco-tourism. Our forestry organization has applied to the Nature Conservation Board for both the protection and registration of this tree. Our process is ongoing. We will carry out the necessary work to bring this tree into tourism," he said.
