The trial of 26 defendants, 10 of whom are in custody, who are being tried for the attack organized by the terrorist organization ISIS in front of Ankara Train Station on October 10, 2015, which resulted in the death of 101 people, was postponed to July 1 after the Supreme Court's decision to overturn. In the afternoon session of the trial at Ankara 4th Heavy Penal Court, the statements of the participants were continued to be taken. The participants expressed that they were complaining about the defendants. POSTPONED TO JULY 1After the statements of the participants, the defenses of the defendants and their lawyers against the opinion on the merits were supposed to be taken, but due to the absence of the lawyers of the defendants, the defenses could not be taken. The Presiding Judge announced that the trial was postponed to July 1, stating that the lawyer of the defendant Erman Ekici had obtained a 3-day medical report due to health problems and submitted an excuse petition regarding this matter, and that the lawyers of the other defendants were also not present in the courtroom. THEY MADE A PRESS STATEMENTAfter the trial, the injured in the explosion, the families who lost their loved ones, and their lawyers made a press statement in front of the courthouse. Mehtap Sakinci, the President of the October 10 Peace Association, who lost her husband Uygar Coşgun in the attack, said that the families of the victims expressed their feelings in today's trial. Sakinci stated that they estimated from the words of the Presiding Judge that the trial had reached the decision stage, but they believed that there were still issues to be investigated and that a decision should not be made at this stage of the trial. "THIS CASE WILL NOT END UNTIL WE SAY 'IT'S OVER'"Sakinci said that they will attend the trial on July 1 and said, "We will expose whatever the decision is. We will always stand against unjust decisions and continue to demand real justice. We did our best in terms of the responsibility of those who were left behind. This case will not end until we say 'it's over'. Regardless of the decision, we are at the very beginning of our demands." Lawyer İlke Işık said, "The participants spoke in this session. In our terms, the owners of the case spoke. We, as lawyers, left our robes and stood by the participants. Because our statements as lawyers in this case have been completed." Işık emphasized that they demand justice and will continue the struggle. The group left the courthouse after the press statement.
