The PFDK (Professional Football Disciplinary Committee) imposed a 23-day ban on Gaziantep FK President Memik Yılmaz due to statements that undermined the reputation of football and institutions. Additionally, the head coach of the Gaziantep representative, Selçuk İnan, was also penalized with a one-match suspension and a fine of 58,500 Turkish Lira for unsportsmanlike conduct towards the referee in the same match.
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Professional Football Discipline Board (PFDK) has imposed a penalty of deprivation of rights on Gaziantep FK President Memik Yılmaz.
23 DAYS OF DEPRIVATION OF RIGHTS PENALTY
According to a statement from the TFF, the PFDK imposed a 23-day deprivation of rights penalty on Gaziantep FK President Memik Yılmaz due to statements made on the club's official social media account after the RAMS Başakşehir match played in the 32nd week of the Trendyol Super League, which were aimed at damaging the reputation of football and institutions.
1 MATCH SUSPENSION PENALTY FOR SELÇUK İNAN
Additionally, Gaziantep FK Head Coach Selçuk İnan was also penalized with a 1-match suspension and a fine of 58,500 lira due to unsportsmanlike behavior towards the referee in the same match.
OTHER PENALTIES
The board imposed a 2-match suspension and a fine of 39,000 lira on RAMS Başakşehir's Polish player Krzysztof Piatek for violent conduct towards an opposing team player.
The PFDK imposed a fine of 1 million lira on Gaziantep FK and 168,000 lira each on Galatasaray and Adana Demirspor due to various disciplinary violations in the matches played in the 32nd week of the league.
Additionally, Göztepe Club official Muhsin Asil Bilgehan was penalized with a 1-match suspension and a fine of 58,500 lira for unsportsmanlike conduct towards the match referee.
