The Turkish Football Federation referred 197 players to the Professional Football Disciplinary Committee (PFDK) who were found to have engaged in betting among the 658 amateur-status players listed on the "A Team" rosters or registered on the roster according to the relevant league regulations, and who are eligible to play in professional competitions, in accordance with Article 57 of the Football Disciplinary Regulations.
A significant development has occurred in the betting investigation initiated by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF). The TFF announced that 197 out of 658 amateur-status football players were found to have engaged in betting and have been referred to the PFDK.
197 FOOTBALL PLAYERS FOUND TO HAVE ENGAGED IN BETTING REFERRED TO PFDK
In a statement made by the TFF, it was said, 'In the context of the betting investigation conducted by the Turkish Football Federation regarding professional leagues, it has been decided to refer the following 197 football players, who were found to have engaged in betting among the 658 amateur-status football players listed in the "A Team" rosters of clubs in professional leagues or who were allowed to play in professional matches according to the relevant league statutes, to the PFDK with precautionary measures starting from 08.12.2025, in addition to the 1024 football players referred to the PFDK on 10.11.2025.'
