Police teams conducting inspections in Esenler caught a fake police officer due to a spelling mistake on the badge he showed. The fake officer, who wrote "Başkomser" instead of "Başkomiser" on his forged identity card, was arrested.

The teams of the Traffic Inspection Bureau of the Esenler Police Department in Istanbul conducted an inspection on Thursday, January 23, at the Esenler Tuna Bridge. During the inspection, the teams stopped a vehicle with the license plate 34 DU 3333, which had a flashing light on it.

A LETTER ON THE CARD GAVE AWAY THE FAKE POLICE OFFICER

The driver of the vehicle, Mustafa Yıldız, claimed to be a chief inspector and handed his card to the officials. The teams examining the card noticed that it said "Başkomser" instead of "Başkomiser" and that the phrase "Turkish National Police" was written crookedly. Following this, the teams searched the vehicle and seized a police vest with the rank of chief inspector and two fake police identities.
