In Sakarya, a car, which was reported to have its headlights and taillights off, collided with two motorcycles racing in the darkness of the night. In the accident, one of the racing motorcycles was split in half, resulting in the deaths of 2 people and injuries to 2 others.
Two people lost their lives in a traffic accident involving a car and two motorcycles in the Karasu district of Sakarya.
The horrific accident occurred late at night on the Karasu-Akçakoca road in the Küçükkarasu area. The car, driven by a foreign national A.A.S., which allegedly had its headlights and brake lights off, collided with two motorcycles ridden by Sıtkı G. and B.G., who were reportedly racing.
THE MOTORCYCLE WAS SPLIT IN TWO
As a result of the collision, the car was thrown into the adjacent land and overturned. A fire broke out on the motorcycle ridden by B.G., while the motorcycle driven by Sıtkı G. was split in two. The drivers and a child in the car were injured, and health, gendarmerie, and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene. Health teams confirmed that Sıtkı G. had died, and the injured A.A.S, M.A.S., and B.G. were taken to Karasu and Kocaali state hospitals. One of the injured, Ahmad Al Salih, could not be saved despite the doctors' intervention.
