A 55-centimeter-long animal skeleton with predatory teeth was found by Yavuz Turan in the Yusufeli district of Artvin. The skeleton has been taken for examination by the Nature Conservation and National Parks (DKMP) to determine the species of the animal.
The former village head of Alanbaşı, Yavuz Turan, found an animal skeleton with predatory teeth, measuring 55 centimeters in length, among the tarps covering materials in his barn. Unable to determine which animal the skeleton belonged to, Turan reported the situation to the District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and the DKMP officials. The teams that arrived took the skeleton under protection. An examination will be conducted to identify the species of the skeleton.
"I'VE NEVER SEEN SUCH A THING BEFORE"
Yavuz Turan stated that the animal skeleton made him uneasy, saying, "I wanted to check the tarps in the barn. When I opened it, I saw the bones. I couldn't understand what it was. I've never seen such a thing before; I got anxious and immediately informed the authorities," he said.
