The Greek press has scrutinized the DRONDEF system developed by ASELSAN under the ÇELİKKUBBE framework. The news highlighted Turkey's progress in UAV defense technologies, noting that the system, capable of neutralizing Greek UAVs, is being closely monitored in Athens.

The progress made by Turkey's defense industry in recent years continues to be closely followed by neighboring country Greece. Greece-based digital news and analysis platform Pentapostagma published a comprehensive analysis of the integrated unmanned aerial vehicle defense system DRONDEF developed by ASELSAN.

In the news titled "The Turkish dome threatening the Aegean: An 8-layer network aimed at blinding Greek unmanned aerial vehicles," it was stated that the system has reached a capacity that needs to be carefully monitored in terms of security balances in the Aegean.

"GREECE IS TAKING STEPS, ALBEIT WITH DELAY"

The news noted that Turkey has accelerated its investments in unmanned aerial vehicles and counter-drone technologies, especially in recent years, while Greece has started taking various steps in this field, albeit with a delay.

Pentapostagma emphasized that the systems developed by ASELSAN demonstrate the technological level achieved by the Turkish defense industry.

DRONDEF, THE NEW ELEMENT OF ÇELİKKUBBE

The Greek press recalled that the integrated Drone Defense System (DRONDEF) developed against unmanned aerial vehicles was showcased at ASELSAN's promotional event held on June 6.

The analysis highlighted that the system's components, İHTAR, EJDERHA, and GÖKBERK, operate in a coordinated manner against mini and micro-class UAV threats. It was stated that the presentation revealed the level reached by Turkey's ÇELİKKUBBE concept.

The news also noted that DRONDEF can detect targets up to a range of approximately 10 kilometers and included evaluations on the system's different subcomponents.

ASELSAN'S SYSTEMS SUCCESSFULLY HIT TARGETS

The ÇELİKKUBBE components İHTAR, EJDERHA, and GÖKBERK, developed by ASELSAN, had previously successfully neutralized designated targets in three different scenarios during tests.

ASELSAN, one of the leading companies in the Turkish defense industry, has recently developed numerous countermeasure systems based on different technologies against mini and micro UAVs, which are considered significant threat elements on battlefields.

These systems successfully performed their tasks during the promotional event held at ASELSAN's Gölbaşı Test Center, attended by international delegations from 19 different countries as well as local and foreign press members.
