A 45-year-old woman, who has numerous records of theft and fraud in 5 cities including Bursa and is wanted with a sentence of 27 years and 2 months in prison, was caught by the Bursa police in an operation like a movie at the intercity bus terminal.

POLICE WOMAN TRAVELED BEHIND THE THIEF

The teams of Yildirim District Police Department Crime Prevention and Investigation Bureau, affiliated with the Provincial Security Directorate, continue their fight against crime and criminals without interruption. The teams, who constantly work on suspicious individuals and vehicles, recently determined that a 45-year-old woman named M.E., who is wanted with a total of 27 years and 2 months of imprisonment and a fine of 30,000 TL in 14 separate files, including fraud, will come from Adana to Bursa.

The teams, who took action, obtained the information that the suspect bought a ticket to Bursa Intercity Bus Terminal from Adana. The police officer, who boarded the bus like a passenger from Adana, accompanied the criminal woman in the back seat until Bursa.

When the bus arrived at Bursa Intercity Bus Terminal, the teams affiliated with the Public Security Branch took action and caught M.E. with an operation on the bus. The woman, who wanted to escape when she saw the police, was immediately neutralized by the police officer traveling in the back seat and handed over to the teams.

M.E., who was taken to Yildirim Crime Prevention and Investigation Bureau, was arrested and sent to prison after the procedures. It was determined that the criminal M.E. was involved in crimes in Istanbul, Sakarya, Izmir, and Adana.
