The incident in the United Kingdom plunged a family's life into darkness. 47-year-old Sabrina Lyttle was found dead in the toilet of the Gurkha Restaurant in Blackpool after being there for two days. According to a statement from the Lancashire Police, Sabrina's lifeless body was discovered around 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 30. However, the truly shocking aspect of the incident was revealed by her mother's statement. 68-year-old mother Christine shared on her social media account, "My daughter entered the restaurant to use the toilet on Thursday, November 28. Unfortunately, her body was not noticed until Saturday afternoon." A police spokesperson speaking about the incident stated, "We received a report of an unexpected death from an address on Waterloo Street. When our teams arrived at the scene, they encountered the lifeless body of a woman in her 40s. No suspicious circumstances were observed in the death." Sabrina's daughter Jade shared a heartbreaking message following her mother's death: "You were a smart, cheerful, and kind-hearted person. You always told me, 'Good night, may God protect you, my baby, I love you as much as life.' You left an unfillable void in my heart." While the cause of death has yet to be determined, a forensic investigation related to the incident will be conducted on Thursday, April 3, at the Blackpool Town Hall. So far, £1,330 has been raised in the fundraising campaign initiated by the family for funeral expenses. This tragic incident at the Gurkha Restaurant, which serves Chinese, Indian, and Thai cuisine, has also raised concerns about the lack of regular checks on public toilets. Local authorities stated that necessary measures would be taken to prevent similar incidents from occurring.
