In the Yavuzeli district of Gaziantep, a woman who went missing after staging her own suicide was found alive thanks to the diligent efforts of the gendarmerie teams.
On June 29, in the evening hours, an incident occurred in the Yavuzeli district of Gaziantep, where a woman named A.F.E. left her home without notice, leaving behind a suicide note. Her relatives, unable to reach her, reported the situation to the Gendarmerie. The Gaziantep Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams launched a large-scale search operation to find the missing woman.
ALL TEAMS MOBILIZED
The search efforts included 11 Crime Scene Investigation Teams, 4 Public Order Teams, 3 JASAT teams, 1 Intelligence Unit, 1 Boat Team, 17 Volunteer Security Guards, and 1 Cadaver Search Dog from the Provincial Gendarmerie Command. Additionally, to support the efforts, an Underwater Search and Rescue Team from the Adana Provincial Gendarmerie Command and a Tracking Dog team from the Kilis Provincial Gendarmerie Command were also assigned.
FOUND AT THE ADDRESS WHERE SHE HID
The JASAT teams of the Gaziantep Provincial Gendarmerie Command conducted a comprehensive investigation by evaluating different aspects of the incident in addition to the search efforts. As a result of these efforts, A.F.E. was found conscious at an address where she was hiding in the Şehitkamil district on June 30 at around 14:30.
A.F.E., who was transferred to the hospital for health checks, was reported to have judicial proceedings initiated against her.
