A worker who went to the front of the Çalık Holding building in Istanbul to receive his compensation was allegedly assaulted by around 10 individuals claimed to be security personnel of Çalık Holding. The worker later died in the hospital where he was taken.

A worker who went to the front of the Çalık Holding building in Istanbul to receive his compensation was allegedly beaten to death by approximately 10 people claimed to be security guards of Çalık Holding.

A citizen named Erol E. went to the Çalık Holding Şişli building, claiming that he had not received his compensation worth 7 million lira for 10 years.

BEATEN BY SECURITY GUARDS

Upon arriving at the Çalık Holding building in Şişli, Eğrek pointed a gun to his head when his blood pressure rose. During this time, approximately 10 people alleged to be security guards of Çalık Holding took the gun from Eğrek and beat him to death.

DIED

Erol Eğrek fell ill as a result of the beating. He was taken to Okmeydanı Cemil Taşçıoğlu State Hospital, where he died despite all the interventions made.
