The young woman on the scooter, who was dragged in front of the truck, lost her life.

In Pendik, Istanbul, a truck approached 28-year-old Ecem Sultan Çamlı, who was riding a scooter, and dragged her for 150 meters before running over her. The young girl lost her life at the hospital where she was taken. The horrific accident was recorded by a security camera, and the truck driver was taken into custody.

On Osmanlı Boulevard in Pendik Yenişehir Neighborhood, an incident occurred around 08:45 involving Hasan Furkan Çolak (24) driving a trailer-less truck, who closed the following distance and approached the scooter driven by Ecem Sultan ÇAMLI (28), dragging it for 150 meters before running over it.

DRIVER TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

Çamlı, who was seriously injured in the accident, lost her life in the hospital to which she was taken by the ambulance that arrived upon notification. The driver was taken into custody at the scene. The police have launched an investigation into the accident.
