The young woman who stabbed her husband tearfully explained the disturbing reason behind the incident.

A woman who stabbed her husband while he was driving a minibus in Adana broke down in tears because she still couldn't see her child, saying that her husband received immoral offers from men due to his gambling debts, and she stated, "I explained the situation to my husband, and he replied, 'It won't matter just this once.'" Additionally, images emerged showing the husband assaulting the young woman.

Sabriye A. (26), who is married and a mother of one, and also 5 months pregnant, stabbed her husband Mehmet A. (26) while he was driving a minibus a few days ago because he did not allow her to see their child. The young woman recounted those moments and what her husband had done to her during their 3 years of marriage. Sabriye A. stated that she married her husband through an arranged marriage, learned that he initially worked in the military and later became a gambling addict, expressed her desire for divorce, and claimed that she could not escape from him. She alleged that he once came to the health cabin where she worked and tried to strangle her to make her give up on the divorce. Sabriye A. also mentioned that there are security camera recordings of this incident.

COUNTLESS TIMES OF VIOLENCE IN 3 YEARS

Sabriye A. stated that she was subjected to violence countless times during the 3 years of her marriage, mentioning that she went to jail for 3 months because she filed a complaint once, but later withdrew her complaint and gave up on the divorce for the sake of her child. However, she expressed that her husband was both discharged from the military and continued to gamble, and he also cheated on her, ultimately taking their child away and she could not see him again.

"HE CALLED AND SAID THE DEBT WOULD BE PAID BY ME"

Sabriye A. indicated that the last straw was when a man called her due to her husband's gambling debts and made an immoral proposal, saying, "I have experienced a lot until this point. Before carrying out this act, I was called by a stranger due to gambling debts. He said that these debts could be paid by me and made an immoral proposal to me. When I heard this, I felt very bad and reacted. Later, my husband came, and I explained this situation to him. My husband was drunk, and it was around 2:00 AM; he told me that this was very normal and that it wouldn't matter just this once, and that he would continue gambling. At that moment, we had an argument, and he took our child away. I didn't stop him because I was pregnant. My husband has a brother who uses drugs, and when I heard that he left my child with him, I immediately called my brother-in-law and said that I wanted my child. He cursed and insulted me. Then I called my husband and asked for my child, saying, 'I don't want him to be in that environment.' My husband told me that he would never show me my child again. He called me to talk. I went, and with the maternal instinct at that moment, I did something I should never have done. I regret it very much, and I can't believe I am at this point. I am very sad about what has happened, but I haven't been able to see my child for days," she said, breaking down in tears.

Sabriye A. continued: "I am at home right now, but I don't know where my child is. I am in a very difficult situation, I am 5 months pregnant, and I want my child. It has been 5 days, and I haven't heard anything. I can't sleep at night; I am in a difficult situation. I haven't even heard my child's voice for 5 days. I can't communicate. They have blocked my calls because I want my child. I miss my child very much and want him to be with me. A 2-year-old child's place is with their mother. It hurts me a lot that people related to gambling debts are calling me and saying they can resolve it sexually, and my husband has no reaction to this. Even a cat or dog’s offspring belongs with their mother. But I am longing for my son."

Sabriye A. stated that she filed a complaint with the police to get her child back.
