Residents express that they cannot open their windows and cannot walk outside due to the intense garbage smell and fly infestation spreading from the area. Neighborhood residents, stating that even breathing has become difficult due to dust and pollution, expressed their frustration by saying, "We have to hold our noses in the heart of Istanbul."

STUDENTS ARE AFFECTED TOO

The proximity of the garbage site not only to residential areas but also to educational institutions raises further concerns. It is noted that primary and high school students in the area are exposed to this pollution on a daily basis, in addition to the information house in the region.
