After the absolute nullity decision, Özgür Özel, who continues his work in the Parliament against the Headquarters, has turned to a road map. Özel, who gives a message of struggle to the end in the CHP, is also considering alternative formulas. One of these formulas is the İYİ Party.
According to the report by Haberler.com Ankara Representative Şerife Güzel; as political uncertainty continues in the CHP following the absolute nullity decision, striking backstage information has emerged regarding Özgür Özel's possible roadmap, as he continues his struggle against the party headquarters. Özel, who conveys a message of fighting to the end within the party, is alleged to be evaluating joint list formulas with a new party and the İYİ Party against a potential snap election scenario.
ORGANIZATION REQUIREMENT TO PARTICIPATE IN ELECTIONS
Özel and his team, while continuing their struggle within the CHP, also tend to pursue work on a new party. Previously, forming a parliamentary group was sufficient to gain the right to run in elections, but now there is a condition of having over 40% organizational coverage across the country. Thus, for a party to participate in elections, it must meet this organizational requirement.
SNAP ELECTION WORRIES ÖZEL
If the struggle within the CHP yields no results, a new party will come to the agenda. However, a potential snap election decision in this process worries Özel. The possibility that the newly established party may not be able to participate in the election is being considered. This is because, even if the party were to run, it is assessed that there would be insufficient time to organize both the individuals to be assigned at polling stations during the election and those requiring prior training for tasks like poll monitoring.
İYİ PARTY FORMULA
For this reason, Özel is also keeping the İYİ Party alternative on the table against the possibility of a snap election decision. According to this formula, Özel and his accompanying names would be nominated as parliamentary candidates from the İYİ Party lists. This way, the election would be contested with a joint list.
DERVİŞOĞLU'S MESSAGE IN HIS SPEECH
It has been reported in backstage chatter that the issue was also evaluated during the meeting between Özgür Özel and İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu after the nullity decision. Dervişoğlu's words in his latest group meeting, "Come, let's defend this Republic with joint effort. Come, let's tighten ranks for democracy. We stand here like a mountain. If anyone wants to lean on us, let them come. Our stance is the Republic and democracy, and anyone who joins our stance will find a place of honor," were also interpreted as a call for this cooperation.
