Five-year-old Rabia Ilgaz, who went missing in the Hizan district of Bitlis, was found safe as a result of the search teams' efforts. It was reported that the health condition of the little girl, who was transferred to Hizan State Hospital, is good.
Five-year-old Rabia Ilgaz, who went missing yesterday in the Hizan district of Bitlis, was found as a result of the efforts of teams and villagers.
TEAMS MOBILIZED
A large-scale search operation was conducted to find Ilgaz, who went missing in the village of Sağırkaya. Gendarmerie, AFAD, UMKE, members of the Hizan Search and Rescue Association, commandos, and security guards, along with villagers, searched everywhere in the region.
FOUND 5 KILOMETERS AWAY FROM HOME
As a result of the search conducted by the teams using all technological means and tracking dogs, the girl was found in the field approximately 5 kilometers away from her home. Ilgaz was taken by officials and brought back to her home, and later transferred by ambulance to Hizan State Hospital for check-ups. Bitlis Governor Ahmet Karakaya told AA correspondent that they were overjoyed to have found the girl safe.
DISAPPEARED WHILE PLAYING
Governor Karakaya stated that the child was found about 5 kilometers away from her home, saying, "She went missing while playing in front of her house. Thank God she was found healthy. Her health is also good. Our teams are conducting the necessary checks. The investigation into the matter is ongoing."
