Residents of the 40-house Yeşildere neighborhood climb to a high hill by passing through snowy paths to talk on the phone. In the neighborhood, where the snow depth exceeds half a meter, those with emergency patients or those who want to talk to distant relatives have to walk 1 kilometer each time.

"WHAT AGE ARE WE IN?"

Nusrullah Özdil, who stated that they face great difficulties, especially in winter months, said, "There is no phone signal in our village. When there is an emergency or a patient, we have to climb this hill at night. Sometimes there are even wolves. What age are we in? There are 40 households in our village. We walk 1 kilometer, and sometimes we go up the hill with children. We are disadvantaged as villagers because the phone network does not work. Especially our students cannot connect to the internet. We are disadvantaged not only in winter but also in summer," he said.

"STRAY DOGS AND WOLVES ARE ROAMING"

Rıfat Eniş, one of the villagers, stated that they have applied many times for a solution to the network problem, but no solution has been found yet. Eniş, who noted that about 30 of the 40 households go to the center to educate their children during the winter months, said, "As the remaining citizens, we walk 1 kilometer in the snow every day to reach the area where the network works to talk to our loved ones. We face very serious problems, especially in winter. Stray dogs and wolves are roaming. We want the authorities to help us," he said.
