Citizens who made payments to an agency of a company to go to the holy lands from Sivas were left stranded. After the plane that was supposed to take them to Mecca did not arrive at the airport, the citizens rushed to the police station.
125 citizens who paid thousands of lira to an agency of a company to go on Umrah in Sivas became victims after the delays that occurred.
THEY TOOK REFUGE AT THE POLICE STATION
After the agency announced that there would be a flight on March 26, citizens waiting for the plane at the airport applied to the Üçlerbey Police Station when the plane did not arrive. Citizens who complained about N.T., who is claimed to be a representative of the relevant company, demanded that their grievances be resolved as soon as possible.

Hüseyin Canhisar, who stated that he paid 3 thousand dollars for Umrah with his wife, said, "We applied for Umrah before the month of Ramadan. We paid 3 thousand dollars for my wife and me. Days and weeks passed, they said, 'There is a flight on the evening of March 26.' They said, 'We will go to Mecca on March 26.' We should have flown by now, but we cannot find anyone to talk to. They are not providing information about our flight. Everyone gathered here came to file a complaint at the police station. They are investigating the situation at the police station. To be honest, we were scammed by the Sivas agency of the company. The agency is not responding to us either. The truth is, we are left in the lurch," he said.
