Last night, regarding the match between Samsunspor and Trabzonspor played at the 19 Mayıs Stadium, the Samsun Police Department took necessary actions against those who attempted to bring prohibited items such as flares and firecrackers into the stadium in various parts of their bodies, in their clothing, and in bags containing food and drinks before and during the match.

ACTION INITIATED

Necessary actions were taken at the stadium police center against 9 individuals for bringing flares and unauthorized entry from the guest stand, and against 12 individuals for flares, firecrackers, insults, foreign substances, and resisting an officer from the home stand. Regarding the incidents in the stands, legal actions were initiated against a total of 44 individuals, including 5 from the guest stand for flares, firecrackers, and insults, and 12 from the home stand for firecrackers, insults, and foreign substances, as well as 23 individuals from Samsun and 21 from other provinces due to social media posts.

A total of 82 individuals are subject to legal and administrative actions initiated upon the prosecutor's instruction in accordance with Law No. 6222 on the prevention of violence and disorder in sports. It has been learned that necessary identification studies are ongoing by examining the security camera footage available in the stadium.
