Thought to be dead in a traffic accident: The truth turned out to be very different.

In a car accident that occurred in the district of Manavgat in Antalya, driver Mehmet Yücedağ, who had a bullet mark on his head, lost his life. As a result of the investigation, it was determined that Yücedağ had been shot with a tired bullet before the accident occurred.

The incident occurred on September 9th near Çardak Mahallesi on the Antalya-Konya D-687 highway. The car with license plate number 07 LS 667, driven by Mehmet Yücedağ, who was traveling from Antalya to Konya, rolled over from the embankment. Mehmet Yücedağ was transported to Serik State Hospital by the health teams who arrived at the scene after being notified. Yücedağ lost his life.

BULLET MARK FOUND ON HIS HEAD

A bullet mark was also found on Mehmet Yücedağ's head at the hospital. The examination revealed that Yücedağ was shot with a bullet known as a 'domdom bullet', which is used by hunters for wild boar hunting.

PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE INITIATED AN INVESTIGATION

As part of the investigation initiated by the Manavgat Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the District Gendarmerie Command JASAT teams conducted an investigation. The JASAT teams determined that the incident occurred in a hunting area, and that Mehmet Yücedağ was hit by a stray bullet while passing through and lost control of the car, causing it to roll over the embankment. While the perpetrator or perpetrators of the incident are being sought, it was reported that Mehmet Yücedağ's funeral took place in Kırıkkale.
