Thousands of people protested against Israel in the capital Oslo before the Norway-Israel match to be played in the 2026 World Cup European Qualifiers.
'GENOCIDE-FREE FOOTBALL'
Participants in the protest organized by the Norway Palestine Committee, the Action Group for Palestine, and the Norwegian People's Aid gathered first at Spikersuppa Square under the name "Genocide-Free Football".
'BOYCOTT ISRAEL!'
Protesters moving from Spikersuppa Square to the Ullevaal Stadium, where the match will be played, chanted slogans such as "Freedom for Palestine" and "Boycott Israel," while carrying Palestinian flags and banners that read "Show a red card to Israel," "Freedom for Palestine," and "Genocidal Israel."
