Togg Chairman Fuat Tosyalı stated that they will start to launch the T10F in the middle of this year, saying, "We will probably start collecting pre-orders for our fastback vehicle from April-May." In response to questions from AA reporter during the 55th Annual Meetings of the World Economic Forum (WEF) held in the town of Davos, Switzerland, Tosyalı noted that this year in Davos, the discussions were largely dominated by Donald Trump's assumption of office in the USA, and he mentioned that global warming was definitely among the top discussions this year.
"SALES TO EUROPE WILL BEGIN"
Explaining that the new energy policies to be implemented in America regarding clean energy have also been widely discussed, Tosyalı emphasized that there was a summit where artificial intelligence also created an agenda. Referring to the process related to Togg, Tosyalı said, "As the production of Togg increases, our sales to the European market will begin. There is also intense demand from Europe. We are especially seeing a great interest from our own citizens. However, as you can appreciate, we have currently reached 50,000 users in Turkey. We aim to increase our production to 60,000 this year. As our production increases, we will enter the European market, primarily... Because all our homologations and everything related to Europe are ready. As our production increases, we will enter the European market. I believe it will attract a lot of interest when we start supplying to Europe. We may also start exporting to Europe by the end of this year." he said.
"WE WILL START COLLECTING PRE-ORDERS FOR T10F FROM APRIL-MAY"
Providing information about the process of Togg's T10F, which is designed as a "fastback", Tosyalı said, "Our T10X is already ongoing. We will also start to launch the T10F in the middle of this year. We will probably start collecting pre-orders for our fastback vehicle from April-May." Noting the electric vehicle market share in Turkey and the competition from Chinese brands, Tosyalı continued: "Although there is great competition in the vehicle market and every brand is trying to enter Turkey, according to the announced figures by the end of 2024, Togg is clearly in the lead in the electric vehicle market. In fact, we are selling more than the total of 4-5 brands that follow us. This year, we will continue to maintain this leadership by a wide margin because the vehicle we produce is entirely based on the demands of our people, has features of higher standards, and the models we will produce in the future are created after collecting hundreds of thousands of data."
"WE ENTERED THE MARKET WITH GREAT SUCCESS"
"In other words, we are not bringing a model developed on one side of the world and presenting it to our country. We produce models that arise entirely from the demands suitable for our nature. Therefore, we aim to maintain our leadership in this regard by a wide margin. The number of vehicles sold in Turkey is certain, let's take a look. When Togg met its first user in Turkey, neither the user had experience with electric vehicles nor did our country have experience in electric vehicle production. Despite this, we entered the market with great success. I see that the rate of preference will increase much more in the upcoming period."
FEATURES OF T10F THAT ARE CURIOUSLY AWAITED
Meanwhile, Togg T10F is designed as a device that centers the user like the T10X, constantly connected to the internet with smart living solutions, and continuously evolving and staying new with remote updates. The T10F will be launched with 3 different technical versions: RWD (rear-wheel drive) standard range, RWD long range, and dual motor, along with two different equipment features. The T10F RWD, producing 160 kW/218 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, will have ranges of up to 350+ and 600 kilometers with two different battery options. The dual motor AWD (all-wheel drive) version of the device, producing 700 Newton meters (nm) of torque, aims to offer a range of up to 530 kilometers. While the standard range model has a battery capacity of 52.4 kWh, this capacity will increase to 88.5 kWh in the long-range model.
