The blessed three months, which include Recep, Şaban, and Ramazan and host many special nights, begin tomorrow. This year, the three months that started on January 1 will be entered for the second time tomorrow according to the calculations of the Hijri calendar. For the Islamic world, this special year occurs every 32-33 years due to the difference in days between the Hijri and Gregorian calendars.

This year, the three months that began on January 1 will be entered for the second time tomorrow according to the lunar calendar calculations. The three months, which offer Muslims an opportunity to question, renew, and enrich their daily lives alongside religious feelings and intense worship, include sacred nights such as Regaip, Miraç, and Berat, as well as the Night of Qadr.

A FIRST IN 33 YEARS

The three months, which are being observed for the first time this year between January and March, will occur for the second time tomorrow due to a calendrical alignment that happens approximately every 32-33 years. This rare event, resulting from the difference in days between the lunar and Gregorian calendars, has gained a special place in the Islamic world.

RAMADAN WILL START ON FEBRUARY 19

According to the information available on the "vakithesaplama.diyanet.gov.tr" website of the Presidency of Religious Affairs' Time Calculation Department, the beginning of the three months will be observed in the month of Recep.
