Tornadoes that struck the Midwest and Eastern regions of the U.S. overnight left behind significant damage, claiming the lives of at least 14 people.

TORNADO HITS THE USA
David Roth, a meteorologist from the National Weather Service, reported that a low-pressure system has led to strong storms in some areas of Arkansas, Illinois, Mississippi, and Missouri, and that 26 tornadoes were reported from late yesterday to early today, although this has not been confirmed. Roth stated, "There is a high risk for more tornadoes today in Alabama and Mississippi. The probability is 30%. This is quite a significant rate."
14 PEOPLE HAVE DIED
So far, 14 people have lost their lives in the tornado disaster. Weather forecasters indicated that with the storms regaining strength, the highest risk of tornadoes and severe thunderstorms is tonight. According to the National Weather Service, the storm will move eastward throughout the day and will reach the Florida Panhandle and Atlanta by midnight.
