Trabzonspor continued their celebration of winning the Turkish Super Lig title with a special party in Istanbul on Sunday.

After lifting the 2021-2022 Turkish league trophy on April 30, the Black Sea region side enjoyed their victory with celebrations in various cities, including Istanbul, where hundreds of thousands of Trabzonspor supporters live.

Thousands of fans gathered at a special party in Yenikapi district, where singers took to the stage. There was also a live DJ performance and a fireworks show.

Fans participated in the show by waiving flags with light beaming from their mobile phones while music was played to celebrate their club's first league title since 1984.

Trabzonspor won the Super Lig title after a 2-2 draw with Antalyaspor in a week 35 match.

Trabzonspor manager Abdullah Avci's maiden league trophy also marked the earliest title won in a season in Turkish Super Lig history. -
