TRABZONSPOR FANS BAN
Despite the tickets being put on sale for the guest stand where Trabzonspor fans would be present, a ban on away fans was imposed for the Çaykur Rizespor-Trabzonspor match to be played on Saturday, as per the decision of the Rize Provincial Sports Security Board.
FAN GROUPS REACTED
Fan groups from Trabzonspor, including Trabzonsporlu Gençler and VİRA, reacted harshly on social media to the decision to impose a ban on away fans for the Rizespor match.

"We have completed our preparations to take our place in the away stand by making the necessary plans for the Çaykur Rizespor match to be played this week. However, according to the information received this evening, the claims regarding the 'imposition of a ban on away fans' clearly harm both the unifying spirit of sports and the understanding of fair competition. The ban on away fans is not just an arbitrary decision taken from a single match, but a blow to the spirit of sports. We believe that football should remain on the field. The fans are the most important stakeholders of this game. For this reason, we call on all relevant authorities to exercise common sense and ensure that the possibility of an away fan ban is not even considered and that Trabzonspor fans are allowed to take their place in the stadium."
