According to information obtained from Karataş Beach in the Konak district of İzmir, a fisherman fishing by the sea caught a human skull on his hook.
THEY WERE ASTONISHED AT WHAT TO DO
The fisherman, who was bewildered by what had happened, reported the situation to the police teams. Following the notification, teams from the Konak District Police Department and the Marine Police were dispatched to the area. The skull was brought ashore by the Marine Police teams.
Examinations conducted on land revealed that the skull was deformed. The skull caught on the fisherman's hook was sent to the İzmir Forensic Medicine Institution for identification, while teams from the İzmir Public Security Branch's Homicide Bureau initiated work to clarify the incident.
