Donald Trump and Elon Musk had not appeared together for a long time following the intense debate that took place earlier this year. The U.S. President and the media-savvy figure who is preparing to become the world's first dollar trillionaire were seen side by side in public for two consecutive days.
Tesla, SpaceX, and X's CEO Elon Musk parted ways with U.S. President Donald Trump after a heated argument earlier this year. However, the two have recently come together in public, demonstrating that their feud has ended.
ALL EYES ON THEM
Musk first attended a dinner at the White House in honor of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He then spoke at a session held as part of the U.S.-Saudi Investment Forum. These meetings mark the third time the two have been seen together in public since their dispute at the beginning of the year.
THANK YOU FROM MUSK
Following all these developments, Musk thanked Trump on his social media account, stating, "I want to thank President Trump for everything he has done for America and the world." Musk's attendance at the dinner and the subsequent thank-you message were interpreted as signs that the tumultuous relationship between the two is moving towards reconciliation.
In the past, Musk had supported Trump's election campaign and had become one of the close advisors of the administration after the President took office. However, their relationship soured quickly; Musk criticized Trump's tax and spending plan and announced that he was considering forming a new political party. Trump, in turn, threatened to cut subsidies that Musk's companies received from the federal government. Experts noted that this conflict had harmed Tesla's brand image, sales, and stock price.
Since then, Musk and Trump, who have rarely met, were last seen together in public when they shook hands at a memorial service for conservative activist Charlie Kirk in September.
