A US Apache helicopter crashed near the Strait of Hormuz. US sources reported that the two pilots on board were rescued, noting it is unclear whether the aircraft was shot down by Iranian fire or due to a technical malfunction, and an investigation into the incident has been launched.

STATEMENT FROM CENTCOM
In a statement posted on the social media account of the US-based company X by the US Central Command (CENTCOM), it was stated that the AH-64 Apache helicopter crashed near the coast of Oman while on patrol at 02:33 TSI.
The statement noted that the two crew members on the helicopter were rescued, adding that these soldiers were extracted from the scene within approximately two hours and their condition is stable.
