Scott Bessent, the Founder and CEO of Key Square Group, which provides investment consulting services, has been in the investment management business for over 35 years. It is known that Bessent previously served as the Chief Investment Officer at Soros Fund Management, founded by American billionaire George Soros. Scott Bessent needs to be confirmed by the Senate before he can take office.
