Trump stated that he supports Bukele's tough security policies, particularly in the fight against crime, and included the El Salvador leader among his "favorite names."
Recently, U.S. President Donald Trump, known for his polemics with leaders of different countries, could not stop praising the leader of one country.
Trump made notable statements about El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele. Describing Bukele as "one of his favorite people," Trump praised the tough policies of the El Salvador government in the fight against crime.
Trump stated that Bukele operates massive prisons and mentioned that some of the murderers, drug traffickers, and individuals who entered the country illegally and committed serious crimes captured by the U.S. are sent to El Salvador.

In his statement, Trump said, "There were 11,888 murderers, and most of them are currently in his prisons, right? And he is doing a great job." Emphasizing the determination of Bukele's administration in the fight against crime, Trump argued that this approach is also important for the security of the U.S.

Addressing the criticisms of the harsh security measures in El Salvador, Trump said, "Some will say 'the most ruthless man I've ever seen.' But I won't say that." Trump emphasized that his priority is to ensure the country's security rather than engage in human rights discussions.
