It was claimed that one of the countries that could host the displaced Palestinians is Indonesia.
WITKOFF WILL VISIT GAZA
An official from Trump's transition team stated that Steve Witkoff, who has been appointed as the new US President's Special Representative for the Middle East, will visit Gaza soon. The same official indicated that Palestinians displaced in Gaza could be subjected to forced migration and could be relocated to Indonesia.
"PRESSURED NETANYAHU"
The official speaking to NBC also commented on Witkoff's visit to Israel on January 11. The official stated that this visit is of 'critical importance' for achieving a ceasefire in Gaza, claiming that Witkoff 'pressured' Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The official said that Witkoff pressured Netanyahu to 'make the necessary concessions,' stating: "In short, he told Netanyahu, 'If you are not willing to make a deal, just let me know, and I will get on a plane and go home.'"
