In an interview with Sean Hannity on the American Fox News channel, President Trump made remarks regarding Iran. He expressed that Iran is "engaged in harmful activities" in the Middle East and emphasized that they would take all necessary measures to prevent this.

In response to a question, Trump asserted that Iran will never possess nuclear weapons and that if he wins the 2020 elections, "a nuclear agreement with Iran could be reached within a week, completely distancing the country from nuclear weapons," but claimed that the Joe Biden administration has failed to manage this process.

"I want the Iranians to have a great country; they have tremendous potential, and the people are incredible. Trump, who opened the door to a new nuclear agreement with Iran, provided that the terms are carefully negotiated, mentioned that they might need to conduct "10 verifications" for such an agreement. He noted that if Iran possesses nuclear weapons, many other countries would also want to acquire nuclear weapons, which would be a "disaster," emphasizing that they do not want Tehran to have nuclear weapons in any way.
