Participating from his office in the White House at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron and European leaders for the "Volunteers Coalition" meeting created for the Ukraine war, US President Donald Trump reminded that Russia earned 1.1 billion euros from fuel sales to the European Union within a year.

Trump stated that Europe should stop purchasing Russian oil that finances the war and said that European leaders should also apply economic pressure on China for financing Russia's war efforts.

According to a White House official, this meeting revealed the differences of opinion among European leaders regarding the Ukraine-Russia war.
The official pointed out the individual political divergences exhibited by European leaders on Russia and Ukraine, stating that this disagreement hinders efforts to end the war.
The official emphasized that the US does not want to be dragged into a war on the other side of the ocean, referring to President Trump's recent statements, and noted that former President Joe Biden is not the only one responsible for this war.
"A STATEMENT ON RUSSIA WILL BE MADE VERY SOON"
The White House official stated, "This war is not only Biden's fault but also the fault of (Ukrainian President Volodymyr) Zelensky and (Russian President Vladimir) Putin," indicating that both leaders will have to make concessions if there is hope for an end to the war.
The White House official also confirmed that US President Trump will make a statement on Russia very soon after his phone calls with European leaders and Zelensky.
