CLAIM OF SANCTIONS ON THE ICC
An unnamed White House official stated that Trump would sign an executive order imposing sanctions on the ICC, targeting allies such as the U.S. and Israel.
The official explained that the executive order would allow for financial sanctions and visa restrictions to be imposed on individuals and their family members who assist ICC investigations against U.S. citizens or U.S. allies.
ARREST WARRANT ISSUED FOR NETANYAHU
The ICC had issued an arrest warrant on November 21, 2024, for Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Gaza. If Netanyahu and Gallant travel to a country that is a party to the ICC, they must be arrested by the authorities of that country and handed over to the ICC.
