U.S. President Donald Trump expressed that the United States is determined to buy and possess Gaza. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that details regarding Trump's Gaza plan should be awaited.
US President Donald Trump made another scandalous statement regarding Gaza, which has turned into rubble. In a statement to reporters on Air Force One yesterday, Trump said, "We can give Gaza to other states in the Middle East for them to build it, others can do it under our protection. But we are determined to claim it, to buy it, and to prevent Hamas from returning."
"Gaza Should Be Considered as a Real Estate Property" Trump stated that there is nothing to correct in Gaza and that Gaza is "a destruction area." He mentioned that the rubble in Gaza will be demolished and rebuilt. Continuing his scandalous remarks, Trump expressed that Gaza should be thought of as a large "real estate property" and that the US would develop it very slowly.
Trump suggested that the US would make Gaza a very good place and that people from all over the world could come and live there, adding that he might consider allowing some Palestinians to settle in the US.
Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov. STATEMENT FROM THE KREMLIN A statement came from the Kremlin regarding US President Trump's remarks. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, "If we are talking about a consistent action plan, it is worth waiting for some details. We are talking about approximately 1.2 million Palestinians living there. This is the fundamental issue. Gazans are people promised a two-state solution in relevant Security Council resolutions and various decisions. There are many questions like this. We do not know the details yet, so we must be patient."
WHAT HAPPENED? On February 4, US President Donald Trump stated during a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that Gazans should be resettled in other countries and that the US would take over the Gaza Strip.
